Dr. Johnson
Overseer Dr. Sharon R. Johnson was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio where she was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Gift of the Holy Ghost at the tender age of nine at Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church, under the pastorate of Bishop Fred Majors. It was here that she learned her foundational teaching of the apostolic doctrine and holiness. During this time she was also a member of the Apostolic Assemblies of Christ (AA of C) under the leadership of Presiding Prelate, Bishop George M. Boone. She traveled extensively to many councils and conventions where she received additional training and further Bible teaching.
Dr. Johnson received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration major in Management from Tennessee State University, Nashville, Tennessee. During her tenure there she was a member of Grace Apostolic Church under the ministry of Bishop Melvin Boyd.
After relocating to Columbus, Ohio, she became a member of Abundant Love Tabernacle under the direction of Pastor Robert E. Taylor. It was here that she was called and received her commission from God to do the work of an Evangelist (2 Timothy 4:5), and received her ministerial license. It was also during this time that she began her journey to gain a better understanding of the prophetic anointing on her life. She also attended International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth where she was blessed to receive her Master’s Degree in Christian Education in Christian Counseling, Doctor of Theology and Doctor of Christian Education in Administration & Organization. She has the oversight and responsibility of schools throughout the United States and abroad including Canada, England, Africa, France, and Jamaica.
She became a member of Mt. Zion Apostolic Holiness Church, Columbus, Ohio under the leadership of the late Bishop Dr. Gilbert S. Price. Here she served on the Ministerial Leadership Team, Women’s Advisory Board, Sunday School Department and the Prison Outreach Team. She was licensed and ordained through Impact Apostolic Ministries (IAM).
Dr. Johnson currently pastors with her husband, Pastor Nathaniel Johnson, where they are the founders of Christ International Outreach Ministries (CIOM) in Columbus, Ohio, and take special care in tending to God’s sheep. Dr. Johnson also serves as the Executive Director of the CIOM Ladies Ministry, and is the President and Founder of the Rose of Sharon Ministries. She was recently elevated to Overseer through her organizational covering World Assemblies of Restoration (WAR) under Presiding Prelate, Bishop James D. Nelson and Bishop Victor Hinds, International Missions Department. Other affiliates include Prophetic Miracle Ministries Worldwide (PMMW) Bishop Dr. Leo S. Lewis, Presiding Prelate, Christian Covenant Fellowship of Ministries (CCFM), Bishop Michael A. Blue, Presiding Prelate and Word of Deliverance Ministerial Fellowship International, Bishop Dr. Bobby Hilton. Her Christian experience includes many years of teaching and preaching God’s Word. She gives God all Praise, Honor, and Glory!
